Khalid has a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kansas, Lawrence (USA), and joined TCS as Senior Manager Call Center on the 15th of January. Prior to joining TCS Khalid was heading the Call Center at Arwen Tech Pvt. Ltd, a global enterprise solution provider, where he started a 150 seats Call Center primarily servicing key players in the financial, telecommunication, retail and tobacco industries.
After moving back to Pakistan in 2002, he started an offshore Call Center CC Works servicing North American clients from Karachi. He commenced his professional career as a Customer Service Representative in 1996 at Sprint PCS, one of the largest cell phone providers in the United States of America, while still completing his Bachelors. A results- oriented professional, Khalid has over eight years in the Customer Services and Call Center industries, with five years in managerial positions in 24 X 7 Call Center organizations, successfully heading up to four hundred seats establishments.
Khalid''s work philosophy incorporates the proper balance of people, processes, and Technologies to improve employee productivity and achieve high client service Levels. Regarding the emergence of the TRANZUM Group, Khalid says that from His experiences in the past he knows for a fact that whenever the concept of a group of companies is brought into a business, the business tends to grow in all directions and at times at exponential rates.
Khalid has two sisters and one younger brother. Arabic and Mediterranean Cuisine are on the top of his food list. He is an active follower of cricket and tennis, specially the North American National Football League. One of his all time favorite books is John Grisham''s ''The Client''. His favorite movie is Al Pacino''s ''The Scent of a Woman'', with Al Pacino his favorite actor.
